The UW Jazz Orchestra workshops and performs music ranging from classic big band repertoire to contemporary and cutting-edge concert jazz music by today’s leading jazz composers. The group performs on and off campus regularly. The all student Afro-Cuban group is a small jazz ensemble performing music of the Latin-American jazz diaspora, with an emphasis on the rhythmic traditions of Cuba.
7:30pm, UW Memorial Union, Fredric March Play Circle, Mead Witter School of Music.
