The JLCO comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. Led by trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs a vast repertoire ranging from original compositions and Jazz at Lincoln Center-commissioned works to rare historic compositions and masterworks.  Sun Prairie High School’s top jazz ensemble will be opening for Wynton and the JLCO performing two Ellington pieces.  Overture Center, 201 State St.  7:30 pm.  Tickets $40-$97.
