STROLLIN’ MIDDLETON JAZZ FESTIVAL. The popular Strollin’ Middleton Jazz Festival returns with a day of live music and art for all ages. The celebration will kick off with hands-on art activities (Native Beadwork with Paige Skenandore; Shibori Dyeing with Liz Trong; and Sustainable Sculpture with TetraPAKMAN), ice cream social, and dancing on the Green beginning at 2pm, followed by the Strollin’ jazz crawl throughout the evening at the Stone Horse Green, 750 Hubbard Ave. Music includes:
2:00pm -3:30pm: Betsy Ezell, Chris Rottmayer, and Nick Moran
4:00pm -5:30pm: Clay Lyons & Co. Dexter Gordon Centennial Celebration
6:00pm -7:30pm: Thaddeus Tukes Trio
8:00pm – 9:30pm: Alexander McLean Quartet featuring vocalist Dee Alexander
Black Power Dance with Francis Medrano will perform between each set.
