Italy’s Stefano Barone is one of the most creative and interesting contemporary acoustic guitarists and composers performing today. Barone’s music has evolved from his internationally acclaimed guitar CD ‘Particulareuno’ in 2008 to his minimalist musical explorations created with the inspirations of Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Barone performs with a six and 10 stringed guitar and he utilizes a fret adaptive device to allow his 6 stringed guitar to be played like a cello. Recently Barone’s music supplied the background for Director Brian Kaufman’s 2018 Pulitzer Prize Winning film ‘ The Wall’.
