ST. LOUIS STOMPERS. The Madison Jazz Society closes out their 2022 concert series with the St. Louis Stompers. Formed in 1981, they play a mixture of Chicago and New Orleans style traditional jazz and Dixieland, reminiscent of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Jelly Roll Morton and King Oliver. The ensemble consists of Mike Lilley, clarinet, soprano saxophone; Steve Lilley, cornet; Jon Siddle, trombone; Dave Majchrzak, piano; David Zink, sousaphone and John Gillick, drums. Funk’s Pub, 5956 Executive Dr., Fitchburg. 12pm. Admission MJS members $15; general $20; 18 & younger free.
