The Sandhill Cranes are a jazz quartet that uses a standard, acoustic instrumental line-up to perform a variety of music from jazz traditions including: early, classic standards, fusion, contemporary and also folk and original music. The ensemble aims to bring a fresh perspective to jazz through improvisation influenced by present-day music. The group is led by Neil Daily (tpt) and features Claire Kannapell (db), Lily Finnegan (perc), and Anthony Utehs (g).
