5/14:  RYAN MEISEL.  Milwaukee saxophonist Meisel will perform a collection of his jazz compositions using the standard blues form.  An intriguing collision of two musical genres which he calls “Ryan Meisel Plays the Blues.”  Ryan’s brand of fiery saxophone playing pushes his group’s improvisational limits.

The band includes Susan Hofer, vocals; Doug Brown, guitar; Matt Rogers, bass; and Jake Polancich, drums.
