RICHARD JOHNSON QUARTET. Pianist, educator and entrepreneur, Richard Johnson has enjoyed an impressive career spanning membership in the Wynton Marsalis Septet to founding the Reach Afar program for young people in 2003 catering to the ages of 7-17, educating them about jazz, classical & Hip-Hop music. This Quartet will feature sounds from Colombia, Puerto Rico and Cuba presented through Johnson’s view of jazz. Café CODA, 1224 Williamson St. 7pm. Tickets $20.
