Middleton Jazz

11/6:  MUSIC APPRECIATION SERIES:  MIDDLETON JAZZ.  Middleton Jazz is a 10-member ensemble with six horns and a rhythm section playing traditional jazz tunes, many in the ‘Dixieland’ style, with an emphasis on instrumental solos. While traditional jazz provides the primary foundation, the band plays a variety of styles. Audiences are likely to hear songs from the Big Band era, Blues, Dixieland and ’50s Rock and Roll, performed by good ensemble work and fine soloists.  Stoughton Opera House, 381 E. Main St., Stoughton.  3pm.  Free event.
