2/12:  MID-WINTER MIDWEST GYPSY SWING FEST.  Madison’s Harmonious Wail will open the evening followed by the duo of Tim Kliphuis, the Netherlands’ premier jazz violinist, and guitarist Jimmy Grant, who have been touring “Gypsy Jazz Duets” as often as these restricted times allow.  This will be the first “small batch” installment of the Midwest Gypsy Swing Fest.  Brink Lounge, 701 E. Washington Ave. 7pm.  Tickets $25-30.
