MICHAEL HACKETT QUINTET. Dr. Hackett, Assistant Professor UW Whitewater, has performed extensively with touring entertainers and pops orchestras across the country backing up artists such as Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, and Perry Como. His trumpet playing has been featured in many national television and radio commercials, the movie sound track to “The Aviator,” and many commercially available recordings. The quintet will include Tom Gullion, saxophone; Chris Rottmayer, keyboards; Nick Moran, bass and Matt Endres, drums. North Street Cabaret, 610 North St. 8pm. Tickets $15.
