3/4: MICHAEL HACKETT QUARTET. Jazz ensemble director at UW Whitewater, trumpeter/composer Michael Hackett has assembled a stellar quartet with Chris Rottmayer, piano; Peter Dominguez, bass & Dave Bayles, drums. Original compositions peppered with jazz standards, the quartet will present an evening of clear statements of melody, creative improvisation, and consistent swing.
