The 16th annual awards show of the Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) will include performances by pianist Johannes Wallmann’s Quartet with improvising spoken word poet as well as Madison’s only jazz steel band, Panchromatic Steel, among performances by bands in a wide variety of musical genres.   A highlight of the event will be presentation of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award to saxophonist and Café CODA owner Hanah Jon Taylor.
