11/21:  LIVE STREAM – THE JOHANNES WALLMANN QUARTET.  Jazz pianist, composer, and UW Director of Jazz Studies Johannes Wallmann returns to Cafe Coda with a quartet featuring vibraphonist Mitch Shiner, bassist John Christensen, and drummer Devin Drobka.. DownBeat magazine described Wallmann’s playing as “confident, muscular and elegant” and wrote that “his evocative compositions are brimming with melodic cogency and rhythmic pull.”  Café CODA.  8pm.
