4/15:  KEN VANDERMARK WITH NATE WOOLEY AND LAUL PYTTON.  Great Britain’s Laul Pytton (drums), Chicago’s Ken Vandermark (reeds), and Nate Wooley (trumpet) are three key figures in the international experimental music scene.  Pytton’s history in improvised music is legendary, and this collaboration with Vandermark and Wooley, both significant, cutting-edge musicians, is sure to be a one-of-a-kind event.  Presented by Blue Stem Jazz.  Cafe CODA, 1224 Williamson St.  8pm.  Admission $20.
