9/1:  JAZZ AT FIVE. The fourth offering in this excellent concert series will feature the Skai Academy Band at 4pm, followed at 5pm by the UW All Stars with pianist and Director of Jazz Studies Johannes Wallmann.  6:45 pm will mark the final set featuring the UW Jazz Faculty Ensemble with special guest New York saxophonist Arun Luthra.  McKee Park, 2930 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg.  Free event.
