·         inDIGenous JAZZ CONCERT:  CHRIS ROTTMAYER QUARTET.  Chris Rottmayer, a recent transplant to the Madison area from Florida, is a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate in jazz piano at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is currently serving as co-director of the UW Jazz Orchestra. The Quartet features Jack Wilkins on tenor saxophone, Charlie Silva on bass and Walt Hubbard on drums.  They will present a concert of original music in a tight, straight-ahead style of modern jazz inspired by the composer’s recent trip to Paris.  Produced by the Madison Music Collective.  Madison Public Library Central Branch, 7:30pm.  Free admission.
