3/19: GROOVUS! The Madison Jazz Society presents the second in their “final four” concert series with GROOVUS! (a subset of the Holland-Coots Jazz Quintet), featuring Danny Coots on drums; Brian Holland on piano and Steve Pikal on bass. The trio brings a delightful mix of jazz, blues, stride, boogie, pop, and ragtime creating something for every taste. East Side Club, 3735 Monona Drive. 1pm. Ticket price: $15-MJS members; $20-non-members and those age 18 & younger-free.
