5/15:  FRANK CATALANO QUARTET TOUR – CELEBRATING THE RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM “LIVE AT BIRDLAND.”  Legendary saxman Frank Catalano will perform in Madison during his extensive tour of the USA, Europe and Asia.  The quartet, featuring Catalano on sax; John Roothaan on piano; Greg Geary on bass and Kurt Lubbe on drums, will celebrate the release of a recording from Catalano’s many performances at New York’s Birdland Jazz Club.  Café CODA, 1224 Williamson St.  7pm.  $20.
