Eric Hines & Pan Dulce is an instrumental Caribbean jazz ensemble featuring Eric Hines on tenor steel pan, Joaquin Garcia (keys), Freddy Quintero (bass), Tommaso Moretti (drums), and Jean-Christophe Leroy (percussion) with guest pianist Richard Johnson. Their dynamic and vibrant ensemble gives a unique jazz treatment to traditional soca and calypso melodies from Trinidad and Tobago, along with popular Latin and folkloric grooves from Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, New Orleans, West Africa, and more.
