DIG JAZZ series: Leslie Damasco with Mr. Chair

4/1:  DIG JAZZ CONCERT SERIES:  LESLIE DAMASO WITH MR. CHAIR.   Vocalist/composer Damaso collaborated with the members of Mr. Chair to arrange Kundiman, a genre of music from the Philippines. The project is original but it is inspired by traditional music. Classically-trained musicians well-versed in jazz, electronics, prog rock, world music and beyond, Mr. Chair is a contemporary fusion ensemble featuring Ben Ferris, bass; Mark Hetzler, trombone & electronics; Jason Kutz, piano & keyboards and Mike Koszewski, drums & Percussion.  Arts + Literature Laboratory, 111 S.
