Charlie Painter & Sam Olson began performing together in early 2020. The duo can be found around Madison, holding monthly residencies and presenting works ranging from blues to bop to Latin Jazz. Olson’s devotion to the groove offers a striking complement to Painter’s multi-conceptual yet historical approach to improv.
