CAROLINE DAVIS AND WENDY EISENBERG.  The adventurous New York City-based saxophonist, flutist, vocalist and composer Caroline Davis returns to Madison for an intimate concert with Wendy Eisenberg, an improviser and songwriter who uses guitar, pedals, tenor banjo, computer, synthesizer and voice and whose work spans genres from jazz to noise to avant-rock to delicate songs. A faculty member at the New School’s prestigious jazz program, Davis has released six albums under her name and won the DownBeat Critic’s Poll in the Rising Star saxophonist category.  She regularly sings and writes songs with the experimental R&B band, My Tree.  Presented by BlueStem Jazz.
