ANITA SORENSEN JAZZ WEEK:  UW JAZZ COMPOSERS GROUP & JAZZ STANDARDS ENSEMBLE.  Directed by Les Thimmig, the Composers Group is a small jazz ensemble focused primarily on student compositions, consisting of trumpet, alto saxophone and tenor saxophone with woodwind doubles, trombone, piano, bass, and guitar.  Directed by Emma Dayhuff,  the JSE performs music from the standard jazz repertoire with a similar group configuration.  Hamel Music Center, 740 University Ave.  7:30pm.  Free admission.
