Jazz fans will descend on State Street on Friday, June 8th, as the Greater Madison Jazz Consortium’s popular Strollin’ jazz festival series comes to the 100-400 blocks. From 5:00 PM to 11pm, patrons will be able to stroll from venue to venue to sample a stylistically diverse array of performances by our community’s finest musicians, without any cover charges. Strollin‘ highlights Greater Madison’s wealth of jazz talent while showcasing State Street’s vibrant businesses. Participating venues include Nick’s Restaurant, Fair Trade Coffee, Overture Center, The Parthenon, Wisconsin Historical Museum, and Peace Park.
