Friday, September 26th turned out to be another beautiful day to stroll Madison’s First Settlement neighborhood and soak in the sounds of the cities local jazz talents. For this Strollin’ event, four local venues featured 9 local jazz acts. Participated venues included The Cardinal Bar, Anchora, Tempest, and Crowley Station. In fact, it was the first time Crowley Station featured a live music event and it certainly won’t be the last. Thanks to funds raised by The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium, participating venues, local business sponsorships and neighborhood association support, and audience donations all the participating musicians were paid a fair wage.
