Capping off this year’s Conference for Young Bassists is a benefit concert honoring its founder, UW Professor Emeritus and NEA Jazz Master Richard Davis. The concert will feature unaccompanied works for the solo bass and bass ensembles performed by the 2018 Richard Davis Foundation faculty as well as alumni. All proceeds support the Foundation, a volunteer-run 501(c) (3) nonprofit that produces this annual conference.
