Johnny Widdicombe and Cliff Frederiksen

Every Saturday night, bassist Johnny Widdicombe plays with a great area jazz soloist. Johnny is a 2004graduate of the UW School of Music, and studied bass with Rufus Reid, Charles (Truck) Parham and Richard Davis. He has performed with the Piper Road Spring Band for 30 years and is a 22-year member of the Harris Lemberg Trio.
He has performed with his string bass across the U.S., The Netherlands, France, England, Scotland, Finland and the Soviet Union at numerous schools, colleges, universities, concert halls, music festivals and, most especially, saloons.
