12/11:  BAD PHILOSOPHER.  Bad Philosopher is an electric jazz quartet based out of Madison performing original compositions fusing elements of classical, pop, funk, and jazz with extended improvisations. .  The quartet includes saxophonist Tony Barba, pianist Jason Kutz, electric bassist Josh Cohen, and percussionist Chris Di Bernardo. The unorthodox background and approach of each member make this quartet unique.  Café CODA, 1224 Williamson St.  Two shows 7 & 9pm.  Admission $20 per show.
