3/12: ADDISON JORDAN TRIO. Addison Jordan is a saxophonist, composer and educator from Dallas/Ft. Worth who strives to advance the legacy of heroes like Sonny Rollins, Andrew Hill, and Duke Ellington through contemporary conventions. He has recently joined the faculty as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Indiana’s Earlham College teaching the jazz ensemble, theory, and jazz history. The Trio includes Clark Sommers, bass and Paul Parrilles on drums. North Street Cabaret, 610 North St. 8pm. Tickets $10.
