Kicking off their 25th consecutive summer concert series, Jazz at Five will showcase Milwaukee’s youth/fusion cover band from the Skai Academy (4pm), Madison’s home-grown steel drum band Panchromatic Steel (5pm) and saxophonist Tony Barba’s instrumental R&B quartet Barbacoa (6:30pm) with Hammond B3 organist Mike Cammilleri, guitarist Richard Hildner, and drummer Chris Sandoval. Bring a chair, rent a chair or picnic on the Capitol Lawn …. all while listening to jazz in its natural habitat. State Street at the Capitol Square. Free admission.
