Mid-point in the Jazz at Five schedule will open with the DB Orchestra (4pm) in the student set, followed by Jazz Consortium Artistic Development grant award-winning jazz vocalist Betsy Ezell and her Quartet (5pm). Milwaukee’s own trumpeter Eric Jacobson and his Quintet will have the headline set at 6:30pm. Chair rentals available, but get there early. The Capitol lawn is now open for picnicking. Jazz at Five State Street at the Capitol Square. Free admission.
