Milwaukee’s West End Conservatory youth jazz band (4pm) opens the program followed by the the Milwaukee guitarist Evan Paydon’s quartet (5pm) with the Lao Tizer Trio (6:30pm) closing the 2nd Jazz at Five evening. Internationally-known keyboardist Tizer captivates audiences of all ages and musical tastes with his eclectic blend of jam-based world music, jazz and contemporary fusion. His fiery trio features bass guitarist Rufus Philpot and drummer Raul Pineda. State Street at the Capitol Square. Free admission.
